CEREC Crowns
When a tooth has a very large filling or cavity it can fracture and sometimes if the fracture is very large, the tooth may not be able to be saved and may need to be removed. A crown is a "dental cap" which covers the tooth in order to protect the remaining tooth that is left and prevent future fractures from occurring. Whether a tooth has a very large filling or if it is already fractured and weak, a crown may be a good option for your tooth.
Our CEREC machine allows us to digitally scan your mouth, design and deliver you your crown all in one single appointment.* No more messy impression material, no more wait time for lab work and no more temporary crowns. A CEREC crown can be made of many different materials and Dr. Seidler will discuss with you which one is better suited for your tooth.
